The Demons That Feed Off All Of Us
What a Modern Day Exorcist Says About Their Behavior, Looks, and Motivations
Rachel Stavis is a modern day, nondenominational exorcist living in Los Angeles, California. She has her work cut out for her there, with L.A. being such a hot spot for evil energy and activities. In her book Sister of Darkness, she describes the hierarchy of demonic attachments that plague each and every one of us human beings.
Stavis is an important and unique figure because, like a medium, she sees and knows things most people cannot see or know, because those things are spiritual. Unlike a medium, Stavis does not really converse with these entities, and for the most part, her work is strictly confined to what we would loosely call “demons.” Stavis offers a lot of nuance on the topic, breaking these entities down into various categories and describing their appearances and effects. Importantly, Stavis claims that every single one of us has been, or will be the victim of an attachment by at least one of these spiritual parasites at some point in our lives.
She clarifies that these beings are not what most of us picture when we think of demons, and as far as she is aware, there is not one entity ruling over all the others who is called “Satan.” These things usually do not have horns or goat’s feet, and some of them actually look quite silly or nondescript. However, a few do look terrifying to her.
Each type has a different reason for feeding on its host. Stavis makes sure to differentiate between “attachment” and “possession.” Most people have an attachment. A possession is an altogether next-level type of attachment which has completely taken over, and is much more rare.
Most or all will modify the behavior of the host, but the severity depends on the type of entity attached. Some entities attach to just one person, while others can influence an entire town.
Stavis does not cover all the entities she has ever seen, just the most common or the most severe. The types she offers are as such:
“Clive” - A small parasitic entity that attaches when trauma occurs. Size ranges from very tiny to the size of a small breed dog. Clives amplify negative feelings already present, so that they may feed off the continuous negative energy you produce. Unintelligent, more like parasitic robots. They have a job, and it is simple. They won’t kill you; they need you alive, but just suffering enough to feed them.
“Wraith” - More human-like in their appearance, but very gaunt, skeletal, and spooky looking. These entities attach to someone with sexual trauma, and encourage the host to engage in sexual promiscuity or sexual activities that can be risky. Wraith;s use technology as a portal, so online porn is their favorite invention. Wraiths may be related to incubi and succubi, or may be interchangeable; also known as “The Hag,” an entity will appear to someone will sleep paralysis as a shadow figure, terrifying the person even more than they already were. Uniquely, wraiths can attach to someone in the womb or at birth simply because their family had that wraith already embedded in it. So, continuation of sexual trauma within a family is helped along by these creatures.
“Trickster” - More intelligent than wraiths or clives. These entities attach to you and play with your mind to manipulate you into thinking they’re good for you. They will make their presence known to you and pretend to be a spirit guide, Jesus, a lost loved one etc. so that you develop symbiosis with them. Many imaginary friends of children turn out to be these specific entities, and many “spirit guides” showing up for psychic mediums are also these Trickster entities. Their entire goal, like the others, is to feed off you long term. They work to alienate their host from humans friends and family so that the negative feelings of loneliness and isolation work as food for the parasite.
Note: “Ancient Tricksters” are much older and wiser. They have accumulated more knowledge about the world, and will seek out hosts to bestow this on in order to enact significant changes to the world around them. They like to influence musicians and artists, which is why these types of people generally have very messy lives and die prematurely. Some of these entities dress up like Baphomet.
“Sandman” - Targets entire areas, such as neighborhoods or apartment buildings, in order to produce nightmares in sleeping humans and feed off the fear the nightmares are generating. Stavis notes she cannot remove these, as they move around and do not focus on just one person.
“Neutral Entities” - Nicknaming them things like “Poof,” “Crystal Dragon,” and “Furby” based on appearance, these silly looking entities wander around but do not attach to humans or cause them harm. Stavis is not sure what their purpose is.
“Collectors” - Very intelligent, very dangerous, and somewhat rare. These entities hang out in places of high trauma or death count and collect the frightened souls which just evacuated the bodies of the victims. These entities are present in places like slaughterhouses, hospitals, malls where mass shootings have occurred, etc. When they stick around a building or area, they can cause all the employees or tenants therein to be constantly miserable and fighting with one another. Collectors work on people already contained within a space.
“Realm Walkers” - The most dangerous entities Stavis has encountered, and the most rare. Stavis says a singular Satan or Devil probably does not exist, rather it is these few “king like” creatures who wreak havoc on Earth by possessing key humans who can exact a specific agenda on the entity’s behalf. Stavis cites examples like Hitler, Stalin, and Charles Manson as people with a Realm Walker attachment. These entities target people already poised to commit the acts of brutality this being desires most. Stavis opines that the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles has a Realm Walker possessing it and causing serial killers like Richard Ramirez to murder people. These entities are capable of luring people into an area.
Stavis also discusses positive spiritual entities and multiple Gods and Goddesses, from all religions and belief systems. She claims to summon and utilize all of them to expel the negative forces from her clients.
If all these Gods, Goddesses and spiritual entities exist, is it because we humans believe them to exist? Is this a massive tulpa effect at work? Tulpas are thought forms, beings which have come to life because a human or collective of humans has imagined them over and over again. A “rake” is believed to be a spooky modern day example of this. If we can will these types of entities into existence by believing in them, the question arises: What comes first - the entity or the belief in the entity?
If entities can target specific types of people, like musicians, and they can dress up like known demons, such as Baphomet, could this be an explanation for all the crazy Satan worship practices we see going on in Hollywood? Is the reality of it that celebrities and politicians and powerful people are really worshiping lower-level entities playing Halloween in order to feed off these people like a pile of leeches?
Are Hollywood weirdos being massively clowned by pathetic interdimensional parasites playing make-believe and screwing their entire lives up over it?
It appears as though that may be the case, because Stavis currently keeps busy in Los Angeles exorcizing celebrities and other Hollywood types on a regular basis. We thank her for her service.
